Human of the Years I & II

is a Vice’s Motherboard annual celebration and a campaign dedicated to future technology and science.

The brand visual highlights this year’s prominent scientist and researchers who inject a beacon of light into the world. The circle logo was inspired by a loop and the infinite dedication of these scientists who impact human kind for the present and future.

The first year of the HOTY (2017) was an exhibition placed in Brooklyn, NY showcasing 5 scientist’s innovations and arts. I designed the exhibition identity and helped curate the exhibition space. The second year (2018) was a docu-series campaign using particle simulations as the visual language.
